niyapic is an app that allows users to capture and share videos with embedded location data or store your videos in your private folder. This feature enables you to create content that includes geographical information, providing context and enhancing the storytelling aspect of your videos.

2. How does niyapic work?

niyapic uses your device’s GPS and location services to tag videos with location coordinates. When you record a video, the app automatically attaches location data, which can then be viewed on a map or integrated with the video playback.

3. What types of videos can I create with niyapic?

You can create a variety of videos with niyapic, including:
• Personal memorable point-in-time videos.

4. How do I enable location services for niyapic?

To enable location services:
• Open your device’s settings.
• Navigate to the Privacy or Location Services section.
• Find Niyapic in the list of apps and ensure that location access is enabled.
• You may also need to allow niyapic to access your location “While Using the App” or “Always,” depending on your preferences.

5. Is my location data shared with others?

niyapic respects your privacy. Your location data is used to enhance your videos and may be shared with others if you choose to make your content public / publish it. You control how your videos and location data are shared through the app’s settings.

6. Can I edit or remove location data from my videos?

No, you cannot edit or remove location data before sharing your videos. The app does not provide options to adjust or exclude location information through the video in the app.

7. How can I manage my account settings?

To manage your account settings:
• Open niyapic and go to the main menu.
• Select “Account Settings” or a similar option.
• Here, you can update your profile name, profile picture, request features, give feedback, and more.

8. What should I do if I forget my password?

If you forget your password:
• On the login screen, select the “Forgot Password” link.
• Follow the instructions to reset your password using your registered email address.
• Check your email for a password reset link and follow the prompts to create a new password.

9. How does niyapic protect my privacy and data?

niyapic is committed to protecting your privacy. We use encryption and security measures to safeguard your data. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Can I use niyapic offline?

Certain features of niyapic may require an internet connection, such as sharing videos or accessing cloud-based storage. However, you can still capture and save videos offline. These videos will be uploaded or shared once you reconnect to the internet.

11. What do I do if I encounter a problem with the app?

If you experience issues with Niyapic:

• Restart the app or your device to see if the problem resolves.

13. Are there any age restrictions for using niyapic?

niyapic is intended for users aged 18 and older.

14. How can I update niyapic?

niyapic updates are made available through your device’s app store. Ensure that you have automatic updates enabled or manually check for updates in the app store to access the latest features and improvements.

15. What will be the duration of the video?

The length of each video will be a maximum of 10 minutes. For videos longer than 10 minutes, the camera will close after 10 minutes and restart into a new video immediately.

16. How do I delete my account in niyapic?

To delete your account, go to your profile page and tap ‘Delete Account’ at the bottom. Confirm your decision to delete your data and unpublish your videos. Your account will be deactivated for 30 days. You can reactivate it within this period, but after 30 days, it will be permanently deleted.

17. How do I deactivate my account in niyapic?

To deactivate your account, go to your profile and tap ‘Deactivate Account’. Confirm your decision. Your account will be deactivated, but you can reactivate it anytime

18. How do I block a video publisher in my niyapic account?

To hide videos from a specific publisher, tap on the three dots on the top of the video and select ‘Block Publisher’. You can view your blocked publishers’ list by going to your profile page and tapping the ‘Blocked Publisher’ button.

19. How do I start recording for the first time?

To start recording, find the red ‘Record’ button at the bottom of the niyapic screen after logging in. Tap it to activate the camera. Before recording, grant camera access and try a short test video. Delete the test video and close the app. The first recording might be inaccurate due to permission delays.

To ensure accurate results, restart the app and record again.
niyapic works best when it has full system resources. Please close all other programs before recording.

20. Why is it recommended to discard the first video recorded after installing or updating the app?

When you first install or update the app, try recording a short video and then delete it. Because the app needs to get permission from your device to use the camera, the first recording might be delayed or inaccurate. We recommend discarding the first video and restart the app to ensure you get accurate results.

21. Where do my recorded videos go?

Once you finish recording, the video will be saved on your local device. A progress page will appear to let you know the saving process is underway.

22. How to upload your videos?

Find the upload button: Each video has its own upload button, so you can choose which ones to upload.

Track the progress: Once you tap upload, a screen will show you the upload speed so you know how long it will take.

Find your uploaded videos: After uploading is complete, your videos will be stored in the “private” section of the app.

Share with the world (optional): If you want others to see your videos, you can publish them from the private videos page.

23. What happens if my internet goes out during a video upload?

Your videos will be stored on a local device and uploaded to your private video section once you’re back online.

24. How to publish/share my videos?

Once you have uploaded a video, you can find it in your private videos section. To share it, click the “publish” button. You can then add a title, description, tags, and choose a sound or background music. Click “save” to keep it private, or “save and publish” to share it with others. Look for your videos on the main page, in the location where you recorded them.
